Privacy Policy
What the app collects
As little as possible. Head Up FC has no user accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, and we never sell or share your data. The only thing the app sends anywhere is anonymous usage statistics, described below — and you can turn those off.
App usage analytics
The app sends anonymous usage statistics via Google Analytics so we can improve the training content and fix problems. This includes a random install identifier — not your name, email, contacts or precise location, and no advertising identifier — plus events such as which drill types are played, scores, level progress and app errors.
These statistics are used solely to improve the training content and fix problems. They are never used for advertising. You can switch them off at any time with the USAGE STATS toggle in the app's settings — your training stats themselves stay on your phone either way.
Your training progress
Scores, levels, XP, badges and session history are stored locally on your device — they never sync anywhere and we keep no copy. Deleting the app deletes this data permanently. (If usage statistics are on, anonymous events about your sessions — such as a score or a level-up — are included in those statistics, but the records on your phone are the only record tied to you, and they stay there.)
Camera
The app asks for camera permission for exactly one optional feature: scanning the QR code printed on Google Cardboard-style viewers to calibrate the VR display. The camera image is processed on-device for that calibration only — it is never stored and never transmitted. If you play without a headset, the camera is never used at all, and you can decline the permission with no loss of training features.
Children
The app collects no personal information, has no accounts, no ads and no external links inside training — the anonymous usage statistics above identify no one and can be switched off. We still recommend adult supervision and following the in-app break reminders for children using a VR viewer.
Website analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4 with consent mode. No analytics cookies are set and no visit is recorded until you choose "Allow analytics" in the banner. If you do, what we see is aggregate only: which pages are visited, approximate region and device type. We never use it for advertising — the ad-related consent signals stay permanently off.
Changed your mind? Your banner choice is stored in your browser's localStorage, so clearing this site's data in your browser brings the banner back and you can choose again. How Google handles analytics data is described in Google's privacy policy.
This website
Beyond the optional analytics above, this website is a static page: no accounts, no ads, no other third-party resources. Our hosting provider may process standard server logs (such as IP addresses) transiently to serve the site and protect it from abuse, as any web host does; we do not use these to identify or track you.
Changes
If a future version of the app ever changes any of the above (for example, optional online features), we will update this policy first and the change will be clearly announced in the app's release notes.
